About the speakers

Erica Stewart-Jones: Lobster

Erica is an Edinburgh-based learning professional, single mother and psychology graduate. She attends a long-running writing group, and is an active part of the writing community in Edinburgh and online.

David Whitmarsh: The Long Fall

David is a retired software engineer, who now spends his time walking, writing and playing guitar badly.

Adriana Polito: Six Shamans and a Visionary

Adriana Polito lives in Scotland with her husband, Tom. 'The World Within' is her debut novel and 'Six Shamans And A Visionary' is a prequel novella to 'The World Within'. Adriana has also self-published 'Bricks, Signs & nature: A Topography', a photography book. She enjoys dreaming, learning about the human brain and spending time with her family. During the pandemic of 2020, she tried learning to bake. She still cannot bake. Adriana is a lover of film. When she writes, she visualizes her stories frame by frame. Like most storytellers, she would love to see her books on the big screen one day.

David is a Thirty- something booktuber and library user.

Mac Logan: Darkness

Mac loves writing and creating. He is a published writer. An older man, he had a wrestle with CoVid19 in April and survived. He is a member of both the Society of Authors and Crime Writers Association. His current work in progress includes a historic fantasy.
