Adam Christopher tells the backstory of Chief Jim Hopper in his Stranger Things novel Darkness on the Edge of Town. Una McCormack’s latest book is the Star Trek: Picard tie-in novel The Last Best Hope.

About the speakers

Adam Christopher’s debut novel Empire State was SciFiNow’s Book of the Year and a Financial Times Book of the Year. The author of Made to Kill, The Burning Dark, and others, Adam has also written for the Star Wars, Elementary, and Dishonored universes. Born in New Zealand, Adam has lived in Great Britain since 2006. His latest publication is Darkness on The Edge of Town.

Dr Una McCormack is a New York Times bestselling science fiction author. She is passionate about women’s writing, science fiction, and helping people find their words and voices. Her Star Trek: Picard novel, The Last Best Hope, was published by Simon and Schuster in early 2020.
